South Asia Working Group sponsored the screening of Haider (Dir. Vishal Bhardwaj, 2014), the award-winning Bollywood adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, which we hope will foster discussion surrounding, among other topics, the politics and cultures of South Asia. 

The screening will be followed by discussion, led by Dr, Nandini Bhattarcharya, English and Film Studies.

The South Asia Studies Group co-sponsored the Shakespeare First Folio event at Texas A&M Library.
