    SASA is a California, non-profit, public benefit corporation. They host ‘Brown Bag Radio’, a talk radio format seminar over their Internet radio service. SASA also hosts an annual conference broadly on South Asian studies.

  • The American Institute of Bangladesh Studies

    AIBS was established with the help of faculty from various U.S. universities. The institute hosts conferences about Bangladesh, offers fellowships and travel grants for both U.S. citizens and Bangladesh citizens for individuals affiliated with academic institutions.

  • The American Institute of Indian Studies

    AIIS furthers the study of India in the United States by supporting U.S-based scholarship about India. The institute provides research fellowships, offers language programs, dissertation-to-book workshops, and digital scholarship grants. 

  • The American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies

    The AISLS is an Overseas Research Center which aims to strengthen American research and expertise on Sri Lanka, and foster connections between American and Sri Lankan scholars and academic institutions. The institute has a library in Colombo with academic works on Sri Lanka, and offers a variety of grants and fellowships for dissertation research, language instruction, travel, and dissertation-to-book publishing. They also offer a range of guides for research and resources for studying Sri Lanka.

  • The American Institute of Pakistan Studies

    AIPS is a bi-national research and education organization which promotes the study of Pakistan in the U.S, and foster collaboration and connection between scholars based in the US and Pakistan. They offer language courses, fellowships and short-term research grants to scholars studying Pakistan.
